Gas prices down right at the Big Spending Season,
that means people can spend more on Xmas.

Is this coincidence? Or do I need to take off a tin foil hat?

1. I think any extra available funds will be going to heat
homes this winter; could be a bear. It is an odd coincidence, though; and now we're resolved to the idea that anything under $2/gal is a real bargain. :eyes:

2. Oil prices down 20%....production back online....
demand for gas down due to normal seasonal cycle...gasoline down approximately 30%. Seems normal supply-demand to me.

3. Prices are still high
2.09 here That's the same price from a month or two ago. They're not going down. They went down, but they are not going down - just kind of stagnating.

4. Gasoline and Natural Gas are both up here, maybe not like we dreaded
but they are still up.

Personally I think the energy suppliers are trying not to get caught gouging a second time this year.

6. Don't spend

What you might consider gas savings, on material items before the first of the year, and push the retail GNP up so they can brag about another "great comeback" in the market. Buy food and necessities and stock up because Jan. will bring back $3 gas and high energy (heating) costs at the worst time of the year.
Every food item that you cannot grow or buy direct will be at the highest price ever by Feb. or Mar.
One other item the poor can look forward to will be a minimum charge to "access" food commodities at local food banks. Those have already been paid for with taxes of the people so should never be allowed. This administration is already in usury and the nation bankrupt, but the poor can not be expected to be frozen or starved to death!
