I've taken my annual test
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 09:19 AM by ck4829
The first time, I've taken it I was a Centrist Liberal.

The second time, an average Liberal.

The third time, I started moving to the Left even more. According to the comparison, I was nestled between Gandhi and Mandela.

This time, wow. I'm the most radical person in my family. I think I must be one of those "Far Leftists" that people like Bill O'really keep talking about or something.

The original post in this thread has been edited, so my response no longer made any sense.

6. Makes sense to me
I'm right there between Mandela and Gandhi.

The questions are fairly pointed and although I don't need a label to know how I feel about things, there are a lot of people who are conservative, or say they are, just because that is who their parents are and how they were raised. It could be a real eye-opener for some people. Not me, but some people for sure.

9. It appears that the original post in this thread has been edited.
Now my response above makes no sense. I am going to self-delete my post.

To be clear: I understand the political compass.

10. I had no doubt you understood it, Skinner
I just thought you had an issue with labels, which, under the current circumstances, is understandable. For example, the Republican party says it stands for some things, but their behavior is clearly opposite. I thought that is where the confused was.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -6.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.92

It's funny (ironic) how on the right, the label is "neo-liberalism". Is "conservativism" a dirty word now? LOL!
