Angela Merkel is a compassionate leader. She's on CSPAN
now proposing a social policy that leaves noone behind and policies for the future to build an inclusive and economically viable society. I'm impressed with the level of detail she is presenting to her people.

1. I don't know too much about her politics...
But I do know there are parts of the world where the leaders treat the people of the country as adults, instead of children to be pandered to... glad to hear that the programs sound socially inclusive!

2. The German "right" is far to the left of the American "right".
European center-right parties generally accept the idea of social welfare, progressive taxation, labor unions, etc... with the exception of the Dutch who are quite right-wing. The Republicans do not accept these ideas at all.

3. That must have been an interesting translation
Because that sure is not what she said. Especially not between the lines.
