people! I volunteer for an organization that teaches Special Needs kids to horseback ride. Some of our horses come from a rescue organization. The women that runs the rescue is a SAINT! She refuses nothing, so she has some beautiful majestic creatures that have been starved, beaten, or abused to the point of being broken. I leave there hating people!
She has one that I love. He follows you around like a puppy. He is an Arabian that had his back broken. No one can explain what happened and why he not put down to end his suffering. His back healed very badly, and he will never be anything more then a lovely and kind yard horse. He is so sweet to have been through whatever horror befell him. Luckily we have kind souls like this woman who has the means and space to run this rescue! God Bless Her!
There are moments of humor when you visit her. She rescued some baby potbellied pigs not to long ago. They are hysterical, running all over the place, chasing each other in circles.
I don't understand how you can look an animal in the eyes and then get close enough to kill it with a club. I believe these people will get what is due them when they have to meet their maker and own up to what they have done.
