F-9/11
Sho is running a special, to see their stations free, and this happened to be on.
My copy was lent to someone who lent it to, who lent it to, who . . . .
which I am happy about - Mike's message was wonderful.

But, seriously I cannot watch the whole thing again. Too much more pain, and death and gore. I am so pissed at this administration. I really, well, I apologize. I should not have posted an emotional post. Sarcasm is mostly my suit, and this does not fit me well. pardon me while i cry for bit.

and, to our nation, I say, we have a lot of growing up to do.

1. F 9/11
Great flick, but it's amazing how many people will say it's "full of lies"...then you ask them to name a few of those lies and usually they cannot...

I work with one of the freep variety and when I found out he hedn't seen it, I lent it to him. And that was his response - "full of lies."

I asked him to name one. He could not - didn't even try, just said, "there were too many."

I took it kind of easy on him, even tho he's a bushie day in and day out, because he just couldn't back himself up - at all.

Later, when F9*11 came up in conversation, with others involved, he repeated the "full of lies" mantra. And again, I'd ask him to name one. "Can we just change the subject" came the reply.

I wonder why they never say, "I saw it on faux news?"

They never say that.

8. M. Moore is a turd......
...that needs six flushes to get down the toilet, He is actually
helping the Bush regime with his implicit innuendo that he (bush) is this buffoon that let this "terror" attack happen and the Saudis relly did it. 9/11 was a U.S. military operation. Michael Moore is a liar. 9/11 as inside job is almost mainstream news now.

2. You mentioned Gore (actually gore)
It was painful to watch him in the Senate while the House members were desperately trying to fight the felonious election results.

Also, I never saw the protests on the inaugural route before F-9/11, and that was wonderful to see. Reminds me of precisely where our country made a wrong turn.

6. Interesting As I watch it for the second time. It is quite mild, IMHO
Edited on Fri Dec-02-05 09:41 PM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
First time I saw it was prior to the election. I thought it was unbelievable. But that was before I found DU. I found DU on November 3rd 2004, and lurked here for about a year before I finally decided to jump in and sign up (obviously now I'm addicted to posting as well as reading).

Anyway, because of DU and all of the articles, facts, debunking and brilliant analysis, I now know exponentially more than I did prior to the election. Now that I am armed with all of the education, watching F-9/11 for the second time I'm not nearly as impressed. It hits some good points, and lord knows is better than nothing, but compared to the actual truth of all we know now my god does it fall short. Just imagine if the DU team made their own version, how much more hard hitting it would be.

Now yes, I think it is a great movie. But I'm in awe how just by knowing about DU, and all it has given me, how much my perception is different watching it now that I know not only everything in the movie, but exponentially more.

I cannot wait for that masters of horror tonight, I'm praying it is as good as they say and finally a 100% blunt portrayal of the truth.

18. F-9/11 was my wake-up call.
Once I was a middle-aged woman who loved politics.

That movie changed it all for me. I never in a million years would have dreamed that there was so much corruption in gov't.
I was actually numb when I walked out of the theatre.

And for that education, I will always be thankful to Michael Moore.

The first time I saw it I was in shock, the second time I was just pissed.

20. i lent it to our landlord and landlady
here in st. lucia after a discussion about 9/11. they got what was going on as soon as it happened. they don't understand why so many americans don't see it, it's so obvious to them. i ended up giving them the dvd if they promised to show their friends, and i've gotten us another copy. i still watch it on my laptop probably once every couple of weeks to keep the rage fueled - not that it needs much help these days................
