For every one who reads this, DUer or lurking Freeper, I wish you the best for the upcoming new year approaching.
We are living in times never before experienced by Americans. While we live in a time that (in my neighborhood) you cannot throw a rock without hitting a church, but the very people that are running this country today scream that they are an ignored and maligned minority.
Companies like Costco (because of fair wages) are vilified by Wall Street and people who cry for peace are called traitors. The idea of acknowledging the common man or average worker has become verboten. The idea of keeping America a place for Americans has become a snake with two heads... One with the idea of keeping wages fare and the other with providing a home for the disenfranchised. There's no easy answer and there is a definite assault on the "American Way" as many see it today.
On Christmas?
It's a "pagan" holiday taken over by the prevailing religion of the day. It is supposedly the day that Christ was born. It is now an economic tool of our government and businesses. Christmas is dead.
This day that is supposed to promote good will and humanity toward man has now become a marketing tool so far removed from the truth of intention that there is no way for the common man to fight without being framed as anti-everything good and holy. It's time for all of us, R&D, to take a look at the way we are going.
Love your brother and sister, do not kill, give comfort to the injured.
The days of "I have mine do fuck you" need to end. Smile on your brother and be a citizen of the world.
