I completely agree with the Iran situation. With sources of international hatred coming from both East and West, Iran really does have the potential to become a WW III situation. However, that is very unlikely, and at best it would be, in my opinion, a repeat of Iraq, with the US leaking a "coalition of the willing." The damage would be greater, but I think that's what would happen.
As far as something strictly Russian goes, something the world, or at least those organizations should worry about is the fact that a former leader of the KGB is head of the country. He's trying to centralize everything, and become another Communist Dictator (contradiction in terms, I know, but still...Stalin). Something else that Russia has to worry about is its economy. Trust me, I've been there, it really is run by the Mafia. It's not as bad as the early 90's, when you could walk through Red Square and see car bombs go off every day, but it's still controlled by an Oligarchy of crime bosses, who were rich during the Communist era. Then they bought the economy.
PS - sorry, that was my boyfriend posting as me accidentally. Oops.
