Bushes will host *26* White House Christmas Parties for 9000 guests
Dance, George! Dance Laura!

===
The White House halls are decked this year with fresh pears, tangerines, roses and lilies. First lady Laura Bush selected elements of nature to bring light to the season, and chose hot pink, lime and tangerine to adorn the more than 200 boxwood wreaths, 580 feet of garland and 18 trees. About 45,000 people will walk through the floral wonderland during the holidays, the first lady said. More than 9,000 of those guests will attend one of the 26 Christmas parties hosted by the Bushes.

1. You
Deserved a vote for that graphic, so ah gave you one.

That graphic should be on billboards across the entire nation. People NEED to be confronted with what this Bush bastard has DONE. Thousands of young men and women are dust because of Junior's inferiority complex-battle-mano to mano to try and prove he's better than Poppy.

Ah tell ya, Junior's gonna burn in the deepest part of Hell.

He's having Christmas parties for 9,000 of his fellow sociopaths, thats just great, I hope he falls over and breaks his damn neck.

:cry:

22. I'm sure the families who love those faces will be having a MOST
festive party season this Christmas, also.

What are these, anyway, GOP fundraisers?

33. We're all pawns. In their game. To ease our use of oil and resources.
Fewer of us means a lesser strain...

When people realize they're about to be fucked over too...

Or why previous politicians didn't do a damn thing (apart from Carter, but that cost him his job and even Nixon set up federal speed limits, dismantled in the late 1990s... :mad: )

8. W & Laura laugh
As the coffins march on through Dover.

Laura wants to bring "light" to the season for the festivities through fresh flowers.

They should cancel these obscene festivities when so many of our troops are dying. They won't, and the coffins will continue. The only flowers our families of the dead for his war will know, will be funeral flowers.

But the Bush's are the rich oil elitists, they nor their children will ever have to work or fight for their country. And they won't.

24. Not to mention the families in NO still sleeping in tents.

"Winter is coming to Mississippi, and too many people are still living in tents or carports" Trent Lock

<snip>

Landrieu warned her colleagues in November she would use Senate rules to keep them in session until they approve Cochran's bill. "We will not be going home for Christmas until the people of the Gulf Coast know they will have a home to go to — if not this Christmas, at least the next one," Landrieu said.

18. It's a pretty safe bet that no one
but big contributors will be walking through the doors of that "floral wonderland."

I'm reminded of the author Amy Tan's recent memoir in which she states that for a long time after her father and brother died, she couldn't stand the smell of fresh flowers because it reminded her of funerals. Of course, that wouldn't bother the Bush Crime family. They are responsible for the deaths, but the funerals are somebody else's problem.

With tiny flag draped coffins, skulls and little green army men ORNIMENTS.

We are at war. This administration has devastated and divided this nation. There is little to celebrate.

Good post Bluebear. The Prince of Peace somehow got ignored in the Vulcans rush to war. For the life of me I can't figure how *'s evangelical base got conned into this Iraq detour...well, yes, believing the lies of course. But once fooled twice shy, you'd think, huh ?

31. Pageant of Peace
The Pageant of Peace is a month-long celebration in Washington D.C. which kicked off on Thurs. with the lighting of the National Tree. I listened on the radio (WTOP) as they kept cutting to it, praising Laura Bush for her "beautiful white outfit" and adding that GWB looked 'very presidential' in his suit. I had to turn it off, sickened that the biggest warmonger on the planet and his hag were present at the "Pageant of Peace". Those beautiful clothes were bought with bloody money.
