George W. Bush has Noble Goals in Iraq
Edited on Sun Dec-04-05 08:42 PM by louis c
I, too, would love to see a democracy, flush with civil rights for minorities and woman, flourish in Iraq. As a matter of fact, I'd love to see Peace, Harmony, Prosperity, and Respect for life everywhere in the world. Problem is, it can't happen. You see, as idealistic as I am, reality seems to always rear its ugly head.

Which makes me come to my next point, if you're not already ahead of me. If I am not that naive, nobody could possibly think Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld could be that naive. To think that this government really gives a shit about freedom in Iraq or the middle east, one has to be delusional.

How long will it be, how many Americans must die, and how many billions of US dollars must be spent, before a utopian society exists in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, China, North Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Chad, and on and on and on.

What the F*ck. I thought those of us that were accused of being "Liberals" were the ones looking for a one world, global utopia.

Who, in God's name, falls for this shit? Who could possibly think that these neocons really give a rat's ass about freedom anywhere, including here.

If we don't stop these maniacs in 2006 we will have only one last chance in 2008. If we don't overcome their bullshit in the next three years, I'm afraid the whole world will be lost. We will reach a point of no return, and we will live in a world none of us can recognize.

I hope my rant makes sense to someone out there.

2. I heard we invaded 30 some countries since WWII to "bring Democracy"
Those countries are still waiting. I really doubt inept * would be the first on in history. Couse he was the first in history to lie so blatently to get us into a war.
