a little lower, look for "bulls and bears" and it says something about, "is the war on christmas hurting your portfolio?" Now they are trying to say democrats are ruining the economy. Interesting how the economy is so good but the liberals are ruining it. Which is it? is it good, or is it bad?

If any of you Christians have too many problems with the persecution and all I have room in my attic. You are welcome to it.

Who gives a damn? I'm sick of this manufactured "war on Christmas". It was, is, and always will be Christmas to me and about 99 percent of the people out here in America. Yes, there are some ultra rightists who will try to pervert the holiday to their beliefs to some fucked up vision of religion. There are also some ultra leftists who will be trying to pervert the holiday to their version of something or other. PC can, and has, gone too far. To all of you out there, I say just enjoy it. If you don't want to buy stuff, then don't. If you wish to celebrate the holiday in the Christian fashion, then do so. If not, then don't. Seems simple to me. But then, I'm a simple man. Screw it.

We need an old fashioned school marm to stand up and say, "Children, sit down and shut up!" At least about some of this kind of thing anyway. If the right got everything they wanted and the left got everything they wanted, we wouldn't be able to get out of bed in the morning without breaking a law.

Beating up Wise men, pulling wings off Christmas Angels and attacking virgin births? This war on Christmas sounds like a lot of work. It's going to put a crimp in my Christmas shopping, baking Christmas cookies and caroling.

Or maybe deligating responsibilities. You take the beating up Wisemen, I'll take the pulling wings off angels. I have no doubt we can find a willing manger bomber around here. The attacks on virgin births? I ain't goin' near that one.

The only reason why they are doing this is because they have nothing else to talk about and they can't talk about all the corruption in the government since the republicans are the rulers now so they have to make up some phoney nonsense. Today I was going to the auditorum at my church and walking through the hallways after the gym-like dining room we have I saw a poster that was advertising for an upcoming party. Guess what they called it? The Congregational HOLIDAY party. So oh brother. :eyes: It's December eleventh so I doubt it's for the New Years.

Because, if they can convince the Republican base, many of them worshippers of the Christmas tree, Santa Claus, and Jesus, then they can create a certain division that will bring them back into the fold of George W Bush... Whether or not they are doing that intentionally, I think that will be the effect of this type of Faux propaganda...
