Has Ahhnold made you want to vote for Bush?
Hey, the Weekly Standard talks about how Ahhnold will make Liberals willing to be Conservitive.

I don't buy it, but does anyone here feel that Ahhnold has changed your mind about the Republican party? Do you know anyone who feels that Ahhnold embodies Compassionate Conservitism?

22. Thanks, please do.....
.....if we stop sending all the fruits, vegitables and dairy products as well as all of the electronic and computer equipment built here to other states, the prices will drop from lack of demand. We could use the price break and you can eat...... :)

3. Why?
I don't get it.

Why would some steriod-enhanced semi-literate nitwit who makes his living pretending to be things he isn't make me want to vote for the worst president in AMerican history?

I don't follow the logic here.

4. Could you follow the logic of
a good percent of California voters voting for a steriod-enhanced, semi-literate, botox nitwit?

I don't see the logic, but Californians, to my utter dismay, did.

5. Ahhnold--> liberal, Kennedy connections etc
The logic goes thus. Ahhnold is (presented as) more liberal than most Republicans. So Liberals will think the Republican party is big enough to include left wing folks. Eventually the stigma for voting Republican will be gone and liberals will "convert."
If that doesn't sound right please correct me.

Voting machines will not be put in place for the 2004 selection.

10. No.
I cannot, and do not want to, imagine a scenario that would make me want to vote for *.

Actually, my new governor elect makes me want to do these contradictory things, all simultaneously:

*Declare homo sapiens to be too flawed and too stupid to save and help them along to extinction.

*Turn my back on politics forever.

*Quit playing nice. Liberate some weapons from those warmongers and start taking them out. One or two or three at a time.

There's a reason why I'm a pacifist. It doesn't come naturally; it's a choice to help my own aggressive instincts evolve. And they are evolving. A good thing, in these times.

So instead, I will defiantly cast my vote for the antithesis of Bush in the democratic primary. I will inundate my new governor with letters suggesting what direction he can take to "save" my state. And I will inundate my state reps with strong language about giving ground to a cyborg.

They already can steal elections here. They just demonstrated that.
If we can't get Diebold and ES&S out of our elections we're done for.

13. Don't get me started.
Arnold does not make me feel like "you've come a long way baby". He does not make me want to be conservative. What he does inspire in me is a need to dig up all the skeletons in his closet that I can find about him to expose his unfitness to govern.

14. Most people don't vote party any more.
To the enormous majority of California voters, I suspect the fact that Ahnold and George are in the same party is just an irrelevant fact of nature. Voters vote for the guy, not the party. So even on the outside chance that Ahnold doesn't screw up, I don't see it helping Bush any.

15. This is the worst thing anyone can do.
No matter who the man is, he owes loyalty to his party and will base much of his governance on what the party wants.

It will be a cold day in July before I vote for Bush. I'm certain that most liberals and moderates feel the same way.

I think Ahhhnold got a lot of votes from idiots who like his movies, having absolutely no clue what he stands for, or who he stands with.

And to NorCalD, go Bears. :)
