I'm an alcoholic (1 year, 1 month and and 2 days) but not a drug addict. This cocksucker was. He's changing.

5. It's not an assumption based on the pictures, they are only being
used to enforce first hand accounts that have stated he is doing just that, why should the op be ashamed?

6. We've been assuming he's been drinking for 6 years by more than
photos. I'm presenting possible photo proof.

Let's add these pictures to his speaking manner, his slurring words, his "hula jaw," his constant blinking, his deliberate manner of doing things and the stories come out.

And, if something like what I presented doesn't fly with you, DU is not the place for you!

I've watched alcohol rip a person's body apart. I've watched herion and cocaine do the same.

Looking at Bush, his features have changed. If you don't like my inference, tough titty said the kiddy!

Go eat some French Cries and a Wah-burger. Wash it down with a whine-ekien. If you choke, we'll call whine 1-1 and you can get a ride in the Waah-bulance!

4. Very few things can age a person like presidentin'.
Compare some before and after photos of Carter to see how much a person can age in 4 years. Clinton also aged a lot during his term.

* may very well be back on the sauce, but the before and after photos don't necessarily indicate that. Behavior, on the other hand....

8. A most sensible answer. The Boston Globe a few years back
did some before and after pics of presidents and how they age in office.

It was astonishing---not all of it could be chalked up to the aging process.

11. To be fair: remember the lambasting Frist got for video diagnosis?
It's not that I do or don't think this war criminal is currently medicating (with alcohol or whatever his compound of choice is), but I do remember that there was a pretty broad consensus that it was inappropriate for Frist to diagnose Terry Schiavo from looking at a few video clips.

You have, of course, an iron-clad right to your opinion, and I respect that your opinion grew out of years of experience, and probably a good deal of pain. I accept that you're probably a better judge than me.

I just want to add (with respect) a voice of caution about how easy it is to draw an incorrect conclusion from small bits of reality, like individual moments caught in a picture.

might just be with or without makeup.

I think the real evidence he's back on the sauce is listening to him "talk." He's always been inarticulate, but the slurring.... if it's not booze or drugs, it's a neurological problem. Which is bad news all around.

16. Funny thing is, I did not alter his features one bit.
If the first one was cleaned up, it ws done by a WH photographer, not me.
