Christopher Shays (R).. These fools still think "it's about THEM"..Apparently out of 9 appointments to the committee (the democrats) only one was there..on her own.. Cynthia mcKinney..

All morning long the repubes on the committee have been "steering" the panels of Louisianans to remark on the "NON-GOVERNMENTAL" help received.. This is all a ploy to "prove" that government should not be in charge..that faith based groups do it better :grr:

and they have also continued to relay the parts about looters and "shots fired"..

They don't get it..

Cynthia & Buyer got into it ..she's a crafty little woman :)

2. another part of the "let's focus on NGOs" ploy ...
... is that the less people talk about FEMA and the lack of National Guard help, the greater the chance they'll forget exactly who put "Heckuva Job" Brownie in charge ... and sent thousands of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi NG troops to Iraq (along with their equipment).

Infuriating, isn't it!

3. Well it brought to light...
...the incompetence of the administration and our unpreparedness for any disaster, natural, terroist attack, anything. We've had our legs pissed upon and told it was "rain"!
