Pride is what will keep us in the war.
Edited on Tue Dec-06-05 10:47 PM by DanCa
Dear Mr President,

I am not going to debate the reasons for getting us into this war. We each have our own reasons. But let's face facts the main reason were staying for is pride.

"No commander and chief wants to be known as a president that looses a war!" And that is the real reason why were still there. No one has held you up to that fact, today I am.

The members of congress are no better. Whatever reasons that they voted for the war are irrelevant. The war is going on and where loosing lots of human beings every day. Yet very few members of congress will take responsibilty for thier pride. I myself thought that the war was a good idea at the onset. Here's were I walk the walk and talk the talk though.

I made a mistake a big one. I backed the iraq war the first week, until thier was no retalation. I am now swalowing my pride and I want to ask for forgiveness to the Iraqi people and to the families of soldiers who are dying in vain. I accept that responsibility and I am sickened by the fact that I fell for the lie. (Which is probably why I give so many dollars to the troops in phone cards)

Dear Mr President, please pull out of iraq now. One more soldiers death is simply not worth an act of hubris. One more civillian death, a death of a pregnant mother, with an unborn child is unthinkable. For nothing more than the fallacy of pride. Dear Mr, president, I am pleadding with you to withdraw troops. As to wether a phased withdraw or all out withdraw ill leave that to the policy makers but we cannot stay involved in the iraq war. The numbers economicaly and in personel are not adding up.

As a fellow christian I employ you to consult the bible. Exalt yourself and you'll be humbled, humble yourself and you'll be exalted.
If you truly follow the path that Jesus the prince of peace taught, and the teachings of the methodist church, who are also opposed to the war, I emplore you bring the troops home now.

Enclosing I want to say that I love our American soldiers dearly.
I want them to be home happy, whole healthy, well fed, and with there familes. And I am so sorry for ever falling for the wmd lie.
And that your stuck in the middle east for said lie. To quote a great man named Senator John Kerry "America must never again goes to war because it wants too, only if it has too."

1. Rumor has is we already lost the Vienam war. So this would only
be the second one. And actually, half of the country lost the Civil War. So that would be 2.5 war lost.

4. War/oil profits, Lets face that! It's the bottom line from the CEO pRes.
Pinhead is all about profits to his bottom line. He commented before his huge windfall profit from his meager contribution to his buy in to the Texas Rangers, that 'if this goes through, I will have more money than I ever imagined." Yep, it's all about the money for bush, first and foremost. Then his ego kicks in! Actually money and power for bush, it's a toss up! Most likely, they go hand in hand. Religion is a ploy to get the nut jobs to vote for him.
