And I personally have an issue with making assumptions in my head without articulating them.

It is just that, after the holidays, those congresmen are facing reelection. I have no doubt they will protect their own jobs well ahead of backing B*sh. Self interest.

And it is equally true, that in principle - on the war - conservatives and liberals agree it is a folly.

SO, after the holidays - it will be really fun to watch. I think we will witness the melt down of the republican party.

The only assumption one has to make is that politicians are out for themselves, and the American people have had enough with the stupid war.

Safe assumptions, to me.

I will be watching the pukes getting indited. As I've told all my sports fan friends, Politics, to me, is like sports to them.
