5. A kick for remembrance
You may be skeptical about why we went to war with Japan. You can never doubt that many died on this day. We knew who attacked us and we went after the same people who attacked us. Yes, the US and UK had initiated an oil and industrial embargo, also blocked the Panama Canal from Japanese shipping. But Japan had invaded China, with some horrific WMD of their own.

I kick this only to honor those like my father who I know fought in WWII for his family and country. I kick this to keep the memory alive. I kick this for the young people to read about the attack, and form your own opinions. The link I provided gives a fair overview, IMHO. I kick this to honor those who lost their lives on this day.

We can honor the soldiers, and fault their civilian leaders who usually do have their heads up their behinds.
