Faldwell and Robertson got some 'splainin' to do

God's wrath destroys a local church.
(Tornado)

...
Hilda Mathers, 77, stands outside the heavily-damaged Ivan Assembly of God between the santcuary, right, and the parsonage. The church, on Ivan Church Road in Crawfordville, lost four buildings and sustained heavy damage to the two remaining structures. The church sign was found several miles away in a cow pasture in Wacissa. Mathers has been a member at the church for 44 years...

2. It Is So Obvious
they were too tolerant of gays. Maybe they didn't condemn homosexuality enough from the pulpit and God is punishing them.

Maybe a senior person within this church is a closet homosexual and the others did not do enough to root him/her out and excommunicate the person.

3. Maybe they should ask Darwin to protect them next time since God didn't?

4. I was in a town hit by an F5 tornado in 1968.
Every single church in town was damaged to some extent. Most of them were severely damaged, and at least two were completely destroyed. Oddly, virtually none of the bars sustained more than minor damage. :toast:

6. It was natural selection
Whereby nature selected the church located in the path of the tornado. Alas, Jerry and Pat will indeed need to explain why the local liquor store or tavern did not get the nod!

7. I should have looked at the pictures first.
The problem is that the church seems to actually be a double wide. Everyone knows that tornados always seek out and destroy the mobile homes (or churches).
