If we couldn't wake the Bush supporters up by now, isn't it futile to try?
Not that I believe in giving up, but my bigger point is that unless we actually come up with a plan of some kind to take back the power--through non-violent means--then we're no different from any old anti-bush person who makes no effort to participate pay attention, let alone blog.

Um, what has been the change in the opinion polls over the past year? That speaks volumns. Our efforts are paying off.

A lot of people aren't as "tuned in" as members of DU are - unbelievably, they may not know all that's going on. We need to keep telling them. Besides, in publicizing anything, repetition is key!

3. Like the christians say: Shake the dust off your boots and
move on. I came to the conclusion years ago that these people can not be "convinced" or "reasoned with" they must be DEPROGRAMMED but who has the time? Our strategy should be to politically and culturally MARGINALIZE these screwballs. You can't "get rid" of them so put them back were they belong and where they have traditionally been: the fringe.
