Laura Ingraham re: Katrina hearing witness: "Will she be at the Oscars?"

Ingraham on her radio show was outraged that Congress allowed this "political show" to occur. She proclaimed that they(Katrina victims) were only "suffering" for 5-6 days and to compare the conditions to a concentration camp is ludicrous. Ingraham was also wondering if any of the witnesses had affiliations to MoveOn.org, and questioned their motivations.

Wow, such compassion.... :banghead:

I believe the days when these idiots could get away with that kind of talk are fast fading. Only the die hard wing nuts will listen to them and think that is something "profound" and deserving of repetition.

People *DIED* days after the hurricane and flooding took place directly because of the lack of aid getting to the area. And, if the reporters got in, the aid could have gotten in as well. But, no, we had to wait for Bush's staged photo op so it could appear as if he was bringing in the cavalry.

Questioned their motivations? They've lost what little they had and are angry and heartbroken.

I would love to have had her dumped their and fight for her survival. Perhaps that would change her perspective.

Honestly, it's like listening to a college sophomore blathering aimlessly to her dorm mates.

All she can do is make fun of the way people talk or make idiotic oversimplified arguments.

But she pretty much sticks to the official script.
