The First Family sent out greeting cards that read "Best Wishes for the Holiday Season" instead of "Merry Christmas."

For some, that's a sin of biblical proportions.

"Why is giving in to the forces of political correctness?" asked William Donohue, head of the New York-based Catholic League.

"I threw out my White House card as soon as I got it," said Joseph Farah, editor of the conservative Web site WorldNetDaily.com.

To these people, exercising your right to criticize the president for starting an un-necessary war is high treason, but if the president fails to wish you best wishes to your fundie satisfaction, you can go ahead and toss it in the trash.

4. Everyone knows it is only good taste in the professional world
to send a card that says "Season's Greetings". That's been done for decades - that's what my mother always taught me. On your personal cards that's up to you, but the White House official Christmas card is by it's nature a professional card. Suddenly we've lost good taste? Oh well, not my country anymore.

12. If they're not careful, the sanctity of the religious symbols are
going to be overtaken by the government. While it sounds like that's what they want, how happy will they be when they realize all of the symbols (particularly the cross) have become secular?
