Where is my party?
We are witnessing in the country the largest single corruption scandal in our history. We are witnessing the change of our country from the biggest defender of democracy to the biggest pre-empter of democracy in the world. We are witnessing the largest race and class based land grab in history. We are watching our laws switch from the protection of all to the persecution of most. We are watching the economic murder of the middle class. We are witnessing our press change from watch dogs to lap dogs. We are about to embark on a journey with the rules made by Halliburton and Diebold. We are witnessing the largest manipulation of the emotions of a single country by government paid propaganda and false terror threats. And this is just what we know about.

Where is the outrage? Why are we talking about smoking policies and video games and the effing War on Christmas and a host of other bullshit?

I am not bashing anyone in particular.

I am ranting, and I am frustrated, and I want my party back.

Stop the political correctness, NOW.

1. You're right on the mark. I'm as mad as you are.
If the Democratic Party doesn't get its act together, we'll never win back the Congress or have a hope of getting the White House. Howard Dean needs to get every Democrat in Congress and every Democratic talking head in an auditorium and read them the riot act. For starters, shut up unless you're going to agree with one another. It doesn't matter that we might have differing opinions. What matters is putting out ONE opinion . . . whatever it is. The 'pukes, as you've probably noticed, apparently get regular talking points and darned if they don't stick to them. The point of the week is "Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman says . . . blah, blah, blah." Political junkies spot the ploy right away, but it's a subliminal message for average Americans. Democrats currently give the impression they agree on nothing, have no ideas or will. That has to change if we expect to take back our country.

2. " the largest race and class based land grab in history."
Your Party, for the most part, is representing those doing the grabbing. If you really can accept that people who belong to the blessed class are inclined to take care of their constituents instead of themselves, I suggest you ignore history. Perhaps a rereading of "A People's History of the United States" is in order.

It most certainly is CLASS WARFARE, but we won't talk about that. People I know in the Investor class (>$500K/yr have never done better.
