1. Just in time to save bush's stagnant/sinking poll numbers.
I feel sick to my stomach by this coincidence.

Nobody here seems to know exactly what Mr. Schulz was doing in Iraq, but from all reports, he was a pretty regular guy. He was an industrial electrician and apparently was helping with the Iraqi ministry of housing (whatever that is).

3. Not that I relish finding an "upside" to such a horrible event, but
at this point in the game, one more death won't necessarily make everyone run to * begging him to protect them but rather might increase the number of those asking "why have you done this?". I like to think that Bush has lost all but his fundie freeper hardcores, and that it will be damn, damn hard to win the rest of us back.

5. They haven't released photos of the "slaying" yet.
That word chills me to the bone, more than "execution." I fear the worst. I can hear the kneejerk response, "See, they're barbarians!" So bush's base will rally again, people on the fence will jump back to his side. Incredibly sad.

4. false flag perhaps?
would make sense, pretending to be a rebel then killing a peace worker.
