Hey, Clinton! Since you hate video game violence so much, I got a query.
Your office said YOU want to keep violent video games out of our 'tender, poor little children's minds'

"A majority of parents are feeling increasingly victimized by a culture of violence that makes it difficult to protect their children against influences they find to be inappropriate," read Clinton's statement.

Okay, you media-whoring DLC phony, answer me this:

If you want to keep violent video games out of kids hands, why don't you go after this game:

http://www.americasarmy.com/

Yes, it's a game put out by the U.S. army. They've found it a most effective recruitment tool:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/03/30/eveningnews/main609489.shtml

BUT HERE'S THE THING!

ANYONE CAN DOWNLOAD IT! FOR FREE!

No credit card, no monthly payment, no age checking. A ten year old could download it, and his parents may never find out.

"With the game on the Internet it is hard to control who is able to access it and we have to rely on parents being educated about how their children are spending time online. We have made a game that stresses values and does not condone bad behavior."

Personally, I don't have a problem with this game, or GTA. But if you are worried about violent video games being sold to minors, you might want to consider looking at this one.

4. I used to work at a video game store
It's company policy for companies such as GameStop, EB Games, Best Buy, etc. to NOT sell mature rated or non-rated games to people younger than 17 already. Also, when I sold games no one would even CARRY adults only games except for another company called Game Crazy and they strictly enforced that rating by making sure people were 18 or older (They had to present identification).

That said, if a parent bought the game for the child there is nothing that could be done (and that's what we made sure happened; a parent had to buy the game or give verbal permission while physically in the store for the child to buy it). I can recall numerous occasions in my short time selling video games where we specifically told parents they shouldn't buy this game for their children.

The gaming industry, especially vendors, already does an excellent job of policing itself and does not need federal oversight on this.

5. I agree. I just want to point out that if Clinton is so scared of kids
getting their hands on violent video games, then I would think that this one also should top the list. Especially since it is very populare (6 million users).

7. Well
as far as I can remember on this non-issue topic. The actual complaint was special features or added features. That changed the content of the games by using codes. These features in computer games are as old as I can remember. The video game industry wasn't doing a very good job making sure these features (some not even know to the manufacturer) are at the same rating as the outside package. To me thats the role of congress. They had a hearing told industry to straighten up. I wish they did this more often to much more harmful industries. Oh well.

6. I've been told that Name Calling is not allowed on this forum
Your post makes sense, but the name-calling doesn't seem appropriate. It seems so strange for anyone to have such hatred for Mrs. Clinton. The Bush mafia is destroying our country, and yet, Hillary is the
one targeted for hatred!
