2. Passengers are all okay....
it skidded into an intersection, there's a car trapped under the plane, rescue's been working on that, no word about the condition of the occupants yet :(

No one hurt on the plane. They were still trying to get the passengers out of the car.

Oh, 737 landing from Baltimore.

... the plane had circled the airport for hours due to faulty landing gear, had a crazed passenger off his meds, seated next to a runaway bride, and a crew member caught red-handed distributing a bag of peanuts -- they could have run with this story for WEEKS, instead of the paltry forty-eight hours it will undoubtedly get.

5. Apparently nobody on the plane was hurt
but rumors abound in the Chicago region that 3 people died in the car the plane hit at the corner of 55th and Cicero. Please keep in mind, these are just rumors at this time.

10. Why Was Midway Open?
Amazing there weren't any more fatalities. Tom Skilling on WGN is wondering the same thing I am...the heaviest snows were centered around Midway...9.1 inches!!!

14. Holy crap! I landed at Midway on a Southwest flight just
the other day...watching the pictures right now. I can't imagine how horrifying the sight of a skidding jetliner would be if you were in its path... :scared:

my dad works for southwest and is at the headquarters all night- its horrible.
