3. Imagine...
...there's no heaven,
it's easy if you try,
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Little know fact, this is almost exactly the Buddhist view of death, etc.

4. It will be interesting to see who is mourned 25 years from now
Will it be the 50 year anniversary of Lennon's death, or the 26 year anniversary of Reagan's death?

My money's on Lennon. It was good to see part of the memorial and hear people sing "Imagine."

What a legacy that song is.

5. To quote Bill Hicks:
"The fact that we live in a world where John Lennon was murdered, yet Barry Manilow continues to put out albums. God damn it. If you're going to kill someone, have some fucking taste."
