They published my LTTE in The Miami Herald

So far, ''the war on terror'' has left us with:

• An unarmed man killed at Miami International Airport because he suffered a bipolar attack in front of air marshals.

• An unarmed Brazilian man killed in a London underground rail car because he looked Middle Eastern.

• A University of South Florida professor imprisoned for 33 months even though there was no evidence linking him to a terrorist organization.

• An American citizen incarcerated for three years as an ''enemy combatant'' before he was finally indicted on charges that had nothing to do with the original allegations.

• More than 2,100 American soldiers killed -- and thousands more injured and traumatized -- while fighting in a country that posed no threat to us.

Meanwhile, Osama bin Laden, the man whom President Bush vowed in 2001 to track down ''dead or alive,'' is probably still strolling the Afghan mountainside with his walking stick.

It's very troubling and many I know are outraged over the latest; the unarmed man shot on the airplane the other night. Everyone is saying, couldn't they have shot him in the leg, the foot, anywhere - but why was an unarmed man killed?

People just aren't buying it anymore. Too much BS that just does not stick, rather majorly unraveled.

a sad legacy for our children on what we did when we were confronted with a crisis like 9/11. What will they see when they look at us in their history books? Will these points in time be our defining acts as generation. God I hope we get a clue soon!

And strangely enough my 911th post.

And I'm talking way down the line, is going to show that Bush was the worst president ever. That this was one of the low points in our history. That people were manipulated by what occurred on that fateful day.

It was your letter, of course. I got to say, "I know him" and then use it as an opportunity to recommend DU.

Plenty more to write about and you're good at it.

I actually spent almost seven years writing for daily newspapers, most recently with The Arizona Republic in 2003. I quit the corporate media because I got sick of the lies. This is the first time I've ever gotten a letter to the editor published.

I guess it helps when you're not writing them to the paper you walked out on.
