Dutch postpone Afghanistan troop decision -sources

THE HAGUE, Dec 9 (Reuters) - The Netherlands postponed a decision on whether to send extra troops for peacekeeping tasks to Afghanistan, sources close to the cabinet said on Friday. snip

Dutch concerns have mounted in recent weeks about the plans to send 1,100 extra troops to the more dangerous south of Afghanistan along with forces from Britain and Canada, allowing the U.S.-led coalition to cut the size of its operation there.
