Rhandi talking about air marshals now

Wow, it's scary. She's telling how they hire people who have trouble backgrounds such as violence and drinking etc. 104 prison guards turned air marshals were found in 155 incidents while on their prison guard: falling asleep on duty, physical abuse of inmates, inappropriate relationship with inmates wives, misuse of government property, treating female inmates horribly etc. This was in 2004. Only caught 32% of violated reports. Only contacted once about these conducts. This is very scary. :\

I see a lot of people spelling it "Rhandi". It's becoming a pet peeve. Back in the Clark-Dean rivalry days a lot of people spelled Gen. Clark's name "Clarke", and it really bugged me!

I guess i have an anal-retentive streak.

But seriously, who the hell spells Randi with an h?

9. They had a split second to make a choice

Why did they have to make a choice? What made them believe this man posed an imminent threat? What did they base their choice on? I believe there ought to be some minimum criteria to justify the police shooting someone. I'd like to know how this man's actions satisfied that criteria.

From what I am reading now, the man never claimed to have a bomb. The marshalls say he was "acting like" he had a bomb. What the hell does that mean? If we grant police broad powers to shoot suspicious people, we will wind up more endangered by the police than by any terrorist.
