Am I just paranoid ?
But does the Nixon White House look like a bunch of amateurs compared to this present gang that has America by the balls? Half of America is grinning and pretending to enjoy it while the other half is writhing in pain. Have we really gone too far to turn back? I am usually a very optimistic person but not recently.

The war in Iraq will never be won. Reality can not be created by Bush and this White House - only their definition of reality. And their definitions do not jive with the real world. Bush and the Neocons have not stopped terrorism - they have started a war against Islamic terrorism that cannot be controlled. There was a time when it could be contained, but no more. They have started something really bad.

5. You also have to remember that quite a few of the current
regeim cut their teeth and learned the basics in the Nixon admin. They're all older, wiser, and much more intimidating now than they were then!

6. Yep, it was a trial run for them to learn from their mistakes
and they sure did that. There is no hesitation about anything right now.

2. Truly frightening, isn't it?
Our only hope is to try to dismantle this cabal, the sooner the better.

3. ...no. You are not paranoid. Just alert. The worst part about today
is the high level of corruption we have controlling our country's politicians and government. It's frightening and disgusting to think I have to pay taxes to it.

8. Can you explain what you mean by this:

"Have we really gone too far to turn back?"

I'm not wild about doom and gloom predications. It's understandable to say things are bad and Bush & Co. have made things worse in regards to terrorism ect ect....but when I here someone saying "all is lost!!" it makes me wonder if there's something else going on there.

10. Oh, I don't know. Our Sec of State just went on a
"defend torture" tour of Europe.

On what scale is that only depressing?

Is it just me or have the last five years been ten years long?

9. Christmas? Bahh! Humbug! for Real!!!

Your "gift" is Un-Ending War Profiteering and "Privitization"/Profiteering at home in our Prisons and in Disaster Relief and Education and Social "welfare" and so-called Faith based initiatives that grow out of Church Cartels like the Evangelical$$$ . . . . All for profit, because these are the servants of Mammon sacrificing others to our Oil Addiction, or, as in the DP, their thirst for bloody-revenge, or, as in sexual-fascism, to the sacrifices they made to their own private "god"(s) - with no plans to change in a manner that could result in some alternatives that would be good, or lead to solutions, not only for the Environment, but anything, especially for the Economy. . . . Pardon my rant . . . . .

The hypocrisy is frustrating! F - - - "Christmas"!

12. it's no use trying to be nice.....
foxnews and bush have demolished the solid ground that people once depended on....something wicked this way came, and even the freepers knowit. So several 'talking points' for the restoration of law 'n'order should be drummed constantly into the public via email, radio calls letters and speaking out. These points are
1)bush wasn't elected in 2k, no matter how the man tries to matt drudge (fudge) the facts, bush has never had legal authority. That point is the hinge on which bush's fate swings. again, even on late night tv, leno etc, it's the stuff of jokes that bush stole the office, and really, that's a terrible joke!
2)bush has been put into office by a gang of criminals who , for example enron, had already thrown a monkeywrench into the economy to enrich themselves
3)911 was staged, maybe not by bush, but by elements of what harpers magazine's lewis lapham calls the 'permanent' government, which decides all the big issues w/out regard to voters etc
4) the elections are congames, and while the people might elect an honest man like clinton, even clinton has been forced to play along to get along (his daughter makes him vulnerable)
5) the mass media has been blackmailed into ignoring news that harm bush and trumpeting anything bush wants- the blackmail was 911, when SOMEONE told the mass media managers that they had enabled bush to steal the white house, therefore if bush was impeached or arrested for anything, the media management all across the country would be implicated in the fraud....
6) the war in iraq is only to fillup the newstime, and to force americans to defend bush, who uses the military to hide behind, and the usa flag to wrap themselves in; forget about PNAC, or clash of cultures
6) if bush completes his term, the usa will be a police state, and many people will suffer, not just the usual poor/black/leftists etc. bush inc fears the right and the 'silent majority' because it's they who bush depends upon for survival- bush knows the liberal left is his enemy already, and waste no time on us yet, cuz we can't hurt him, it's the 'herd' or the 'silent majority' or the 'taxpayer' or the 'law abidding citizens' whom bush fears, and it's they who'll be in big trouble within a few years if they don't 'spit in bush's face'...
whats striking about these last few years is the cavalier attitude towards proven killers on the part of the anti-bush americans, the sincere aw shucking of the democrats etc .....noone can deny the nasty indifference that the gopig showed regarding the commonwealth, see new orleans, because it was a dem bastion? a liberal city? or whatever.... noone can deny the media lies, noone can deny that the bush government fears the AMERICAN people more then anything on earth, and the people better beware- hate is fear on horseback!
7) the US military budget is equal to the rest of humanity's combined! the question is: why? and why aren't taxpayers angry about the massive frauds that have gone on?

14. These guys are Nixon retreads......
Cheney, Rummie and Powell all worked for Tricky Dick. Rove worked for C.R.E.E.P.! Difference is now they control ALL 3 branches of Government! Nixon had to contend with the Warren Court and a Democratic Congress! Cheney and company are operating with ZERO oversight! Be afraid, be very afraid!
