Pombo says his public lands garage sale bill is "non-negotiable"

"Pombo's and Gibbons' proposed new land sale provisions, which her organization is not promoting, likely will be changed during the coming conference committee between the House and Senate, given opposition from even some western Republican members of Congress, she said.

Pombo, though, has said the land sale provisions are non-negotiable.

"If it's non-negotiable, then the whole budget reconciliation bill should go down," Gov. Richardson said Thursday."

1. His presence in the Congress is unacceptable.

And that position is non-negotiable. Rarely have I said that a particular politician needs to be removed at all costs, but Pombo is one of those few. He is a true danger to the republic and the environment. The man has no conscience whatsoever.
