I did not know the earth was inside a huge blue donut ;-)... WTF? but the whole thing makes me wonder in terms of relativitisic physics, that if we invented a planetary teleportation device within the travel time, or if the camera hit a wormhole on its way across space, things might not be so linear... the whole paradigm presumes the linearity of space of 1000's of light years... methinks not.

BUt is is really cool.. thanks for that.

5. It all started with Charles and Ray Eames
Their 1952 book was followed up in 1968 with a movie which has been updated several times.

Charles Eames, by the way, was the designer of the very famous plywood Eames chair:

6. Powers of Ten is a classic
We still have a copy of the black and white "rough sketch" version of Powers of Ten. We use it the very first day of class in college astronomy. Great film (and website).
