Not A Peaceful Welcome!
So when asked by Brian Williams about BushCo's asseration that we would be greeted as liberators, Junior says "I think we are welcomed. But it was not a peaceful welcome."

Huh? If it wasn't a peaceful welcome, how could it be a welcome in the first place?

They went to the Arab Emerates and asked that the US LEAVE their country. How the hell does he get "welcome" out of that? They want us the hell OUT OF THERE!!!

13. I don't even think he's saying the people want us anyone...
He's come up with this new term now....the "Sadaamists." Who exactly are the Sadaamists? I think he's saying the Sadaamists are the Iraqis who have fought against the U.S. occupation.

So in that way, he cannot in all seriousness say the people still want us there.

15. It depends on what the meaning of "welcome" is
If "welcome" means "welcome, and welcome from the beginning", then it wasn't a welcome. If "welcome" means "go the fuck away" at first, but now means "stay and clean up the mess you made", then it's a welcome, albeit not a peaceful one.

Gee, George. It's so touching to see a rape victim look up from a bloody heap on the floor, and say, "Please rape me all you want, as long as you don't kill me", isn't it? Now THAT'S a welcome! "She wants me! She really, really wants me!"
