Just heard this song. It has always touched me. I am grateful that so many people here at DU are not too blind to see.

Elvis wasn't born with a sliver spoon in his mouth, that's for sure.

what a sensitive person he was...no wonder he couldn't cope with this world.

Mack Davis did, but Elvis made it come alive. It was great that he made it a hit.
