A very selfish request here...

If I may, I'd like to make a very selfish request here.

I know there's an over-abundence of blogs out there right now, and some of you might have blog fatigue.

But I'd certainly appreciate any support you could give my blog, Progressive Minds. http://progressiveminds.bloghi.com/

A lot of times, it seems like I'm alone in my views on there. I get a lot of comments from the right-wing nut jobs (the Bush apologists, the torture lovers, etc).

Many of these are people who own blogs on the BlogHi server like I do, so that's probably how they found out about my blog.

Anyways, I sure could use some support from my fellow DUers in the reality-based community.

Trust me, when you see some of the comments the freepers leave, you'll have a very interesting insight into their minds.

For example, one of our beloved freepers said the FEMA trailers for the Katrina evacuees are not needed and are a waste of taxpayer money.

They said "we don't hire Presidents to rebuild cities."

Oh, and they say that my criticism of the Bush Administration's handling of the Iraq war is a direct reflection on the troops, and that I am providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

These idiots know no limits!

I agree. These idiots have bad boundaries and are costantly violating mine. The Rapture can't come soon enough for me.

It's not easy doing a blog...it's easy to find the things to write about...but organizing it, putting it in coherant form, promoting and maintaining is a lot of work. Too many blogs start with the greatest intentions and then fade away.

I wish you the best...and, most important...keep blogging.
