The Pentagon is spying on American citizens.
A year ago, at a Quaker Meeting House in Lake Worth, Fla., a small group of activists met to plan a protest of military recruiting at local high schools. What they didn't know was that their meeting had come to the attention of the U.S. military.

A secret 400-page Defense Department document obtained by NBC News lists the Lake Worth meeting as a “threat” and one of more than 1,500 “suspicious incidents” across the country over a recent 10-month period.

1. Mindblowing ....
.... the elephant in the room, the U.S. military. They've been fleecing the government purse for more money every year, their advocates are constantly screeching for war, and now they're watching us all. The first thing that we need to do collectively as a nation is to strip down that whole operation - it just costs more and more, and not just money.

3. Next time, they ought to invite the Pentagon folks to the meeting.
In the instance you mention about the the Quakers, whom I greatly admire, or with any non-violent political activity, I'd suggest sending invitations to Dept. of Justice, Dept. of Defense, FBI, State Police, etc. to encourage their attendance.
