"The Lord told me it was going to be A, a disaster, and B, messy" (Iraq)
Edited on Wed Dec-14-05 10:39 PM by kansasblue
Pat Robertson before the war. (I know we've seen it, but I just wanted to review it again)

"And I warned him about this war. I had deep misgivings about this war, deep misgivings. And I was trying to say, 'Mr. President, you had better prepare the American people for casualties.' "

He said that's when the president told him he did not expect casualties from the invasion.

"I mean, the Lord told me it was going to be A, a disaster, and B, messy," Robertson said. "I warned him about casualties."

5. I remember the 'controversy' about the amount of
casualities expected in Iraq. I remember when Barbara Bush, (aka George Washington), issued her infamous statement on the Iraq war:

"But why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's, it's not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that. And watch him suffer." 3/18/03

Asked why he thought Bush has refused to admit to mistakes on Iraq, Robertson said, "I don't know this politics game. You know, you can never say you were wrong because the opposition grabs onto it: 'See, he admitted he screwed up.' "

8. Any Fool Knew This . . .
So that makes Bush AND the rest of the republicans stupider than fools. I find it highly amusing that Pat Robertson thinks he has the "rights" sewn up to communicating with God.
