Bushbot Freeper Declares war on Chanukah

On CSPAN, a freeper told Russ Feingold to "have a merry christmas". :wtf:

To his credit, Senator Feingold handled the rude, obnoxious freeper well and just ignored the asinine comment.

To all of you freepers out there, HAPPY CHANUKAH!!!!!! :party:

1. It is conceivable that the caller was unaware that Feingold is a jew.

A lot of them ARE that stupid. Archie Bunker had the benefit of growing up in Queens and at least having plenty of jews around so he would know the names.

Midwestern rural and suburbanite right-wingers would have less awareness of "Jewish" names.

My best friend's last name growing up was Yardeni, and people always thought it was SPANISH in Texas...

3. Co-worker getting ready for Easter...

We were sitting around having lunch before Easter and this "frat president" type guy says he loves ham on Easter and asks our Jewish co-worker if she has ham on Easter. He was astonished that Jews didn't celebrate Easter and even more so that they never eat ham. Then he wanted to know if they hated ham because they didn't get to celebrate Easter.

10. Well, I eat ham and bacon but...

many other Jews do not. Although I have cooked spare ribs, bacon and ham steaks at home, I've never cooked a whole ham or a pork roast or pork chops and wouldn't consider doing so. Just weird, I guess.

But the freeper who called immediatly after the "merry christmas" freeper was demanding the host tell him why most of CSPAN's guest are Jewish. Wow. I was stunned. No, I think that the same way that freepers are lead to believe other idiotic talking points may be feeding the war on anyone who is not christian.
