Florida will pay Jeb's hatchet woman to work for Arnold in CA! Outrage!
Jeb sends Arnold a gift paid by Floridians.
SNIP...."When he announced that Florida state budget director Donna Arduin was going to be analyzing California's budget crisis, Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger thanked Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for donating her services.

Actually, he should have thanked Florida's taxpayers. They're the ones who will be paying for Bush's thoughtful donation. According to Florida Today, a newspaper based in Melbourne, Arduin will be on paid leave from Florida while tending to California's finances. She said she expected to finish her work by January, when the new budget must be submitted......"

2. with respect to FLA DUer's, what is wrong with FLORIDA
Residents-- surely this MUST piss them off, but it seems to be one of countless similar affronts from Jebbie's gang.... Will this finally be the straw that broke the camel's back and unleash a flood of angry protest?

God, these guys are so arrogant and blatant about their corruption....

6. From FL to CA, another Bush acquisition.
Wait until they find out how she operates!

We were the first one the steamroller hit. We have an excuse, because no one ever really thought of such a thing. There are no more excuses.

11. Some Arduin and Jeb "fuzzy math".
From 2001:

SNIP...."Jeb using big bros' -fuzzy math- to cover up FLA's budget crisis!

Tax cuts generated billions for state, Gov. Bush says By S.V. Dáte, Palm Beach Post Capital Bureau Saturday, August 18, 2001

TALLAHASSEE -- With a half-billion-dollar budget deficit looming just a month away, Gov. Jeb Bush's office has put a dollar value on how much of the state's $3.4 billion in new tax receipts over the past three years can be credited to his tax cuts: Every dime of it -- a stance that has some economists scratching their heads.

The claim came in response to Democratic accusations that the likely $400 million to $800 million shortfall this autumn was caused in part by the $1.6 billion in "recurring" tax cuts that Bush and the Republican-controlled legislature have approved since 1999. Bush budget chief Donna Arduin wrote in an Aug. 2 letter: "$1.6 billion in tax cuts have yielded an average 4.1 percent annual increase in state tax revenues." Bush has repeatedly credited the tax cuts for increasing state revenue and used the 4.1 percent figure in an Aug. 5 letter to the editor of The St. Petersburg Times....."

12. And more: On loan to find the fat in California.
If you in CA are not yet scared, then you are not paying attention.
http://www.acssonline.org/news/20031010-veteran_outsider-to-scour-CA-books.asp

SNIP..."Before joining Bush's staff in 1999, Arduin worked as first deputy budget director for New York Gov. George Pataki from 1995 until 1999 and as chief deputy director of Michigan's budget department under Gov. John Engler from 1992 to 1994.

"She's done an extraordinary job in Michigan, New York and Florida," Schwarzenegger said. "And I want to thank Gov. Bush for sharing this great talent with us."

In Florida, Arduin is credited by some with helping Bush eliminate special interest tax breaks along with hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of legislative pork. That has antagonized some members of Florida's Legislature — a point Arduin appears to appreciate. At a Halloween party one year, she dressed as a witch....."END SNIP

16. Alert the media - especially the ones which like to rant about
Fed/State/local govt waste of taxpayer dollars.

Explain how much Florida is paying for this "donation".

Send to all major dailies' editorial page. Note in the header of the letter that this is being sent to (list of papers). Do that so they don't suddenly get the idea that "astroturf" can be done.

Jeb's Hatchet woman will now help Arnold plug holes in CA budget.

Another secretive one:
SNIP...."Arduin, whose office is near the top of the towering 22-story state Capitol, mostly avoids the public spotlight, leaving that place to Bush and other elected officials. Although unmarried, she has had a longtime relationship with Tallahassee lobbyist David Ericks, a former Broward Sheriff's Office lieutenant, with whom she spends a lot of time in Fort Lauderdale.

Always impeccably dressed, she loves shoes and purses. Like Bush and all his senior staffer, she puts in long hours.

A quiet and unassuming accountant who graduated from Duke University and has banking experience, she is not always forthcoming about her at-times creative budgeting techniques, which have included inventing new spending categories to make it look like a program is getting more money when in reality it's getting less......"
