Poll question: Which of these Kerry stories deserves more attention
Pick one:

The first is a comment that Kerry made about that piece of excrement Sen. Stevens saying that he would attach ANWR to either a Katrina aid bill or a military appropriations bill.

The second was an comment that Kerry made at a party with staffers from the 2004 campaign, joking that if we get back a Congressional majority, we could impeach the Shrub. It's a good dream, and a good motivational thought for 2006.

1. Kerry dreams of impeachment?
Uh, no, he made a big joke about impeachment and then asked no one mention it. According to one of his staffers who posted on the thread, whoever leaked it is a "gossip monger," which indicates he really didn't want it leaked.

2. Most people generally don't like off-the-cuff comments repeated publicly

5. The leaker's could have been supporting another candidate
and wanted to harm Kerry's reputation. I just can't fathom why fellow Dem's would call up the media to mention this. One other possibility is a Repub smear job. Anyway, this is such a small issue compared to so many really serious things.

7. Or just wanted to feel like a big man/big woman with Wonkette
Might perhaps be buds with Wonkette, who is, according to a different thread, the leakee.

6. It depends what your goal is.
If you care about issues and what the Republicans are doing to this country, the answer should be obvious.

If your goal is to attack Kerry either because you are a Republican or a Democrat (blogger or staffer) bothered because he is speaking out and that may hurt the guy you are supporting, then feel free to take n 2 and attack, attack, attack (on which side of the attack does not matter. Both sides will do).
