glimmer of hope...
i was just thinking...

the only positive spin i can put on this whole Bush/ republican assault is that by 2016, there will be so many unemployed, so many in poverty, so many without health care, that they will start to vote.

right now, the rich are in control and there is an apathetic middle class. With 20 years of republican government, it will end up being 5% upper class, 15% middle class, and 80% lower class. They say people don't vote unless they are angry.

The downside will be that when the tables are turned, taxes (corporate, sales, individual, dividends, property) are all going to go way up to make up for the non-investments of the previous 20 years.

That is, of course, unless we get BBV and then the few will be able to control the masses until they revolt. But do not start with the lawyers, start with the Republicans.

3. Yeah, and we'll all be suffering terribly because
the country will have gone totally to hell and then some by that time if the sheeple don't wake the hell up. If the Bushistas are still in power in January of 2005, it's Canada, ready or not, here I come!

4. Your class percentages are probably optimistic

Also, in the timeframe you're talking about, most of the populace has a high likelyhood of being so totally brainwashed that they'll think voting is not patriotic.

Ed., grammar
