Fear
Is there a better word to sum up the reign of King George the Unelected?

The monster under your bed lives.

Fear everything, and know that only King George the Unelected can save you.

Your plane could be highjacked, you may not have enough duct tape and plastic wrap to keep out the gases, your retirement savings are gone, you can't save yourself you need Texas to redistrict so that you can be assured that those noble republicans will remain the majority.

Fear.

Vote GOP.

Vote for fear.

I think I will work on some kind of poster for it. Can I borrow it?

5. Exactly
And that's where I see a distinction among democratic candidates. I can divide them into two categories:

1) Those who repudiate the Bush paridigm of fear and offer a promise of peace and hope.

2) Those who accept the Bush paridigm of fear and assert that they are better qualified to operate within it.

My very strong preference is for a candidate from category one.

6. Yes and no - fear works against him as well, it's the response that counts
It's the response to fear that determines whether or not you're liable to support Bush and the GOP.

Let me tell you something.

I work in New York City. Every morning on my way to work in lower Manhattan, I look up at the blue sky and wonder if today is the day Sept 11th will be revisted.

I live here for many reasons, but I also that it is highly likely that the odds are in my favor that one day either a dirty nuke or a suitcase nuke is going to find it's way into town, and lights out.

And I blame George Bush for that fear, I don't look to him to save me from it. Everyday he's in office is one day closer I am to being killed by a terrorist, and it's that terror that makes me strive to learn everything I can, to inform at every possible opportunity, to teach my son to seek the truth and TRUST NO ONE - at least no one who's allied with the Bush Administration.

It's not whether you're afraid or not - it's what you do in reaction to the fear. Stay awake and speak out, or bury your head in the sand and trust in fairytales.
