Went to Rolling Thunder in KC this weekend.

Good event. Turnout seemed a bit low, though.

Was anyone else on here there? What about at the other tour stops?

Me, with tons of media and promotions experience, my friend with years of convention planning experience.

At the meeting, when everyone was asked to discuss their political leanings, we revealed ourselves as democrats.

And, given the cold shoulder we got after that, they might as well had shown us the door.

3. yes,

turnout did seem a little low. A couple key people (including Will Pitt) bowed out at the last minute. The Royal parade and a couple other major events were big competition.

I thought the event was awesome, inspiring and educational. The music was fantastic and the speakers were excellent. Hearing Jim Hightower speak about the state of our "democracy" was also great.
