Oh--and tonight on some cable show I heard some commentator say, "Of course the NSA spying story is on the front page of the NYT and WaPo--I'm sure it was on every front page of every paper today!"
Oh, yeah? Not a whisper of it on OUR front page. Just the de rigeur recounting of the glorious "democracy" in Iraq. Plus, I leafed through the rest of the first section of the paper, and I couldn't find the NSA spying story ANYWHERE. Unbelievable.

Two of those letters were from far, far away.

I am surrounded by Bushbots. They are full of Kool-Aid that they don't even suspect that I am not one of their brethren. And I a democratic socialist, a feminist, an atheist, and a card-carrying member of the ACLU. This is how well they pay attention. I just don't bring it up at all. My coworkers are so intellectually braindead that they don't even talk about current events at all... so it's not really a problem. :/

I just added a new sticker that I saw at my community college campus:

And guess what popped out of the white dodge 4x4 durango.....something that you would see a fashion magazine. This guy looked like a urban cowboy. It was hilarious.

I think the "pro-life" stickers piss me off even more than Bush stickers.

These people, these supposed "pro-lifers", are really nothing more than some of the biggest hypocrites on the face of the earth.
