Its still considered by many to be the upstart CNN was a while back.

They are on in every hospital or doctor's office you walk into! I know lots of fools who get all their daily ration of bullshit from Fox.

We owe just about EVERY right and Benefit that we now have in the workplace to the
fine people who fought and even Died to secure those rights.

They presume the way things are today are the way they have always been. What they see is the potential NYC transit strike, the PATCO strike, and teachers striking, all of which inconvenience them, so they are bad. They do not recall that the 40 hour work week, overtime, paid vacations etc all came via union action.

Another annoying thing is that the only thing anyone these days remembers about the PATCO strike was that Reagan broke the union, which they think is a good thing.

Note that I am not very satisfied with way some of the unions are doing business these days either (mob influence, theft, fraud...), but they are much better than the alternative. Its also not clear just how mich of that is going on, since the only source of information is the MSM and the Government

...against Unions.

The way it's going now, we're ALL going to have to join unions to protect ourselves against the greed of Big Business. In the last twenty years, working people have just about lost everything in the way of benefits offered by corporations, and now retirees are losing their pensions.
