Benjamin Franklin Said it Best
Since the constitution is just a "God damn piece of paper" to President Bush, maybe a quote from the guy on the one hundred dollar bill might get his attention. Since I know that he and his cronies worship that piece of paper, perhaps the man who said it best could wield some influence.

"They that can surrender essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety"-- Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

2. Here's a timely one from Abraham Lincoln....
"This country with its institutions belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their Constitutional right to dismember or overthrow it."
-Abraham Lincoln

10. Here's another one from A. Lincoln
"At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it? -- Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step the Ocean and crush us at a blow? Never! -- All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years. At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."

I do not fear foriegn terrorists. I fear that the excuse of terrorism will be used to destroy us.

4. Question: On what occasion did Bush say this about our
constitution? Was that a recent ignorant statement of his or one before he was selected?
