The "madness" behind Chimpy's "method"

I've been wondering why.

I thought back to his interview with Jim Lehrer, when he tried to tell Lehrer what the news item of the day was.

Basically, he's trying to change the subject by getting ahead of the story.

He wants the media to talk only about the Iraqi elections.

So he figures if he goes ahead and fesses up to his criminal spying, the story won't have a long news cycle.

So he pushes bush on stage with the admonition, "Get out there and dare anybody to knock that dictator chip off your shoulder."

What happens over here is more important than what happens over there.

He and C*ndi both have been trying to minimally admit to bad things they have been accused of doing. I agree, it is to get ahead of the story. I don't think they give a rip about Iraq now that the election is over and it was not catastrophic. However, Iraqis appear to be becoming more vocal about how it is their desire to see the foreigners out of their country, a rich country because of its oil, so they can get on with their lives. They believe the U.S. troops draw violence--which is true. The story for BuchCo, as designated by KKKarl will be the economy. Who knows, maybe they will set it up so that we are paid to take our cars to the gas station.

He is delusional at best. His ego eggs him on. JHC! Trying to figure out Chimpy is a full time job!
