Will Bush EVER have to pay for his crimes?
Edited on Sat Dec-17-05 11:40 PM by Rocknrule
It sure doesn't seem like it. It seems like just by virtue of him being a Republican and a Bush to boot, he is above the law and doesn't have to answer to anything. Sometimes I even feel like when he dies he will be able to cheat or buy his way into heaven, even though I know thats not true. Do you think he will EVER be held accountable?

2. I think it all hinges on the 06 elections.
If the Dems can take back the House, they can call hearings and demand all the liers to appear before Congress, UNDER OATH, and hold them accountable!!!!

4. Do you honestly think Dems will do anything even if they are able...
to gain a majority. I'm not being snotty...I'm basing my question on what I've seen from them so far...which ain't much.

9. Yes, I believe they will. I doubt any of us realize the full extent
of the power the Pubs have been using to scuttle the Dem voices during the last 11 years! Yes, it's been that long since they took control of the House.

23. Do you honestly think we will have a fair election?
These guys will never surrender power. A new administration would begin investigating the old, and they can't have that. It's Bush forever now, folks.

Neither did the people that came before Bush, and neither will the people that come next. They all know it, too.

7. He'll only get away with it if we let him.
Edited on Sat Dec-17-05 11:52 PM by Independent_Liberal
It's up to us. Only if the good people of America stand up and fight hard long enough, he will pay for what he has done. Justice must be served to those families who lost their loved ones in Iraq. Sometimes justice can take a while, but if you stay persistent, you will accomplish it. If we want to be the America we once were again, we must hold him accountable. So let's join hands and work together to bring the crooks to justice and get our country back. Is anybody with me?

14. You have a great dream there, but that is all it is. We will be lucky....
if we can endure anouther three years of this corruption administration.

To think that the American people will "punish" Bush after
re-electing him in 2004 is ludicrious.

The country is too divided for that to ever occur. Lots of people are in deep kimshee and still cant come to blame Bush for the mess we are in.

Can't wait for 2008!

17. He wasn't re-elected. The election was stolen. The people are awake now.
And no, we are not going to wait until 2008. We can't just wait for some magical pendulum swing. We must act now.

Defeatism like "there's nothing we can do about it" has got to stop. That is completely false. There IS stuff we can do. Do you want him to get away with it or would you rather get up and fight like hell? It's your call. The future is whatever you want it to be. I swear, there's people around here who enjoy being miserable and feel the need to bring everybody else down and make them feel miserable as well. I'm getting sick to fucking death of it! It stops NOW! Sorry, I just had to rant.

We are a morally and intellectually bankrupt people.
And I have no power. I live in Ohio, we don't even have the
right to vote.
