THE TRUTH ABOUT
ARLEN SPECTER
ARLEN SPECTER AND THE JFK ASSASSINATION
The Single Bullet Theory
To support the scenario that a lone assassin (Oswald) could fire the purported number of shots within an allotted time frame, the Warren Commission concluded that one of the bullets fired that fateful day hit both Kennedy and Connally. This conclusion came to be known as the "single bullet theory." However, given the location of Kennedy's and Connally's wounds, for the "single bullet theory" to be correct, the bullet would have had to change course several times, behaving in the manner shown in the diagram (below left). The chief architect of the "single bullet theory" was the Warren Commission's ambitious junior counsel, Arlen Specter, now U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania. In the reenactment photo (below right) Specter, with his pointer in hand, attempts to make the "single bullet theory" appear more plausible by deceptively indicating a straight line trajectory for the bullet.

ARLEN SPECTER QUESTIONS ANITA HILL
In her book, Speaking Truth to Power, Anita Hill relates her experience with Arlen Specter during the Senate confirmation hearings for Judge Thomas:
"Specter began by assuring me that he was simply trying 'to find out what happened.' Nevertheless, in short order, any hope that Senator Specter would transcend the political was dashed. He began his questioning with an unmistakably prosecutorial tone. He used a familiar cross-examination tactic--a tactic common in sexual harassment cases. He ridiculed my reaction to Thomas' behavior, suggesting that I was being oversensitive, even to the point of misrepresenting my testimony....

The single bullet theory (also known as the magic bullet theory by the majority of critics and conspiracy theorists) is the crucial element of the Warren Commission theory that only one assassin shot during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The theory, generally credited to Warren Commission staffer Arlen Specter (now a US Senator), posits that a single bullet, known as "Warren Commission Exhibit 399" (also known as "CE399"), caused all of the non-fatal wounds in both President John F. Kennedy and Governor John Connally. It is an important theory because there was not enough time for one shooter to fire twice in the apparently very brief time between the injuries of the two men. The 1979 House Select Committee on Assassinations Report agreed with the theory, but differed on the time frame.

Darrell C. Tomlinson was the original discoverer of that magic bullet, CE 399. It came from a stretcher, but which stretcher?
Just to give you a bit of background - Connally's stretcher's appearance was described by the orderly named Mr. "R. J." Jimison, who helped move Connally from the stretcher to the operating table. In order to follow the journey of Connally's stretcher we need to pick up in the middle of Jimison's testimony where this becomes the focal point. This segment comes from the Warren Commission Hearings, Vol. 6 p. 126-128.

Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, forensic pathologist and renowned-coroner-in-the-making, was in a Los Angeles morgue surrounded by corpses when the news broke.

by Walt Brown
The "magic bullet" lives -- or so it seems. In Pittsburgh last November, Senator Arlen Specter noted that the "magic bullet theory has now become the magic bullet fact."
Says who? Oh, yeah, the media -- those absolute guardians of truth, justice, and the American way (overlooking the fact that truth and justice are supposed TO BE the American way).
There are one or more serious flaws in all the arguments, and that overlooks the myriad "twists and turns" required of CE 399.
First of all, think back to the last time you saw a magician. Great tricks. Turned the ace of spaces into the three of diamonds; you gave him a dollar bill, he set it on fire and gave you back a five with the same serial numbers.
Awesome.
But NOT magic, alas. What the viewer sees are illusions, and while the viewer is very preoccupied with the playing card or the coin in the obvious left hand, the pigeons are crawling down the right sleeve. Even some "magicians" now honestly refer to themselves as "illusionists."
http://www.manuscriptservice.com/DPQ/magic.htmlI'll feel so much better with Arlan Sphincter on the job huntin down ALL THE FACTS, won't you?
I hope Arlan suspects that his name might be on Bush's list of people to spy on and he really does go after the facts, but I'll not hold my breath. I'm about 99.99% sure that this Snoopgate investigation will go just about like Sen. Pat Roberts's stonewalling on the final Senate Intelligence Committee Report on Bush's lying to the country to start the war in Iraq. And the 9/11 commission that could look everywhere but at the White House to find all their "FACTS!"
