criminality. I would say that big business that hires illegals has a culture of criminality.

Unfortunately, Hardball (or, as one of my esteemed fellow DUers calls it, Hairball) has December 15th up and nothing after that. I assume Brooks made the comment on Sunday or Saturday.

Criminality is to what very small subsets have resorted when they find that they are shut out from participation in legitimate society, when they discover that the police won't protect them, that banks won't lend money to them, and that the justice system won't give them their day in court.

The Justice Department has done research showing that second-generation immigrants are much more likely to engage in criminal behavior, drug use, etc., than first-generation immigrants.
