Bush not only broke the law
He broke the constitution! He's despicable...beyond despicable. The only answer is impeachment..nothing less. Then indictment for crimes and incarceration.

3. Arlen Spector was turned ...

In between Arlen Specters speech on the Senate floor and today on "Late Edition" someone "got to" Specter. He was waffling and talking about how we needed to slow down and not rush to judgement. Bush admitted that he had done what he was accused of doing. Apparantely Specter now wants to have a hearing that mearly concerns trying to decide if there is some law that he has broken.

FTR right wingers, the fourth amendment is an AMENDMENT!!!! It supercedes anything in the original articles of the constitution. The difference between BEFORE September 11, 2001 and AFTER September 11, 2001 is meaningless. IT'S THE FUCKING CONSTITUTION!!!! It doesn't change because you want it to. And if you want it to change, why not propose an amendment that does so instead of ones regarding gay marriage and flag burning.

Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 12:39 PM by NativeTexan
Impeachment would be nice, but to do so we MUST capture BOTH Houses of Congress!!
This is just another incident that reminds me of a pic that I have seen that says:

"IT'S NOT FACISM IF WE DO IT!!"

2. "off with his head, off with his head"
Calm down, honourable sir.
*'s merely broken every civil law in existance and
deserves not only to be impeached, him and his whole gang should
be rocketed in to space to visit the surface of the sun for a
republican sun-landing, more proof that science lied, and the
sun is REALLY made of smouldering potato sacks, and excess farm
product dumped by the european union. So, i say we venture a
sun landing with the lot of them. We can call the ship, "republican 1"
and make space for 200 of the greatest leaders, the dearest leaders,
the men we tremble in our boots for fear of their egos. And these
great men, we can send forth to meet God, on the surface of the sun,
where they can smoke cuban cigars together, God's cuban cigars,
and laugh at the folley of science.

:-)

5. The elections of 2006 are the key to turning the situation around.
We must concentrate on strategies that will lead to a Democratic majority. Easier said than done.

11. remember: the Constitution is "just a goddamned piece of paper"
you know he's scared this time, because he's trying to "brazen it out" only by being as in-your-face as he is this time does he think he can get out of this one.
